Some seniors might only eat one meal a day, so we stock our pantries for them with food and other supplies. CASS would be glad to pick up donated items. Please contact CASS Development Manager Linda Bertaso at lbertaso@cassdelivers.org or 513-559-4501 to make arrangements.

The types of food needed most are:
- Jars of instant coffee and creamer
- Cereal
- Powdered milk
- Peanut butter and jelly, including sugar-free jelly
- Shelf-stable microwave meals — found in the aisle with boxed pasta and rice meals, usually containing meat
- Small cans of pasta meals, such as spaghetti with meat sauces
- Boxed meals, including macaroni and cheese and pasta
- Hearty soups, stews and chili
- Canned fruits
- Personal care products, such as deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo and more
- Soap for dishwashing, laundry and bathroom use
- Paper products, including toilet paper, paper towels and tissues
Small sizes with one or two servings are preferred.
We do not need canned vegetables.
Food and Supplies Needed for Pets
Many of the seniors we serve live alone, so their pets play a crucial role in their well-being. Those who are unable to buy pet food often give food originally intended for themselves to their pets.
The types of supplies needed most for pets are:
- Dog food: Dry food in bags of 10 pounds or less is preferred.
- Cat food: Canned and dry food in quantities of 10 pounds or less is most useful.
- Kitty litter: Bags of 10 pounds or less are preferred.
Other Ways to Support Seniors
Congregations, sports teams, workplaces and other groups can help us by:
- Organizing drives to collect food and supplies for seniors and their pets.
- Sponsoring monthly birthday parties, holiday parties or craft sessions for our OTR Senior Center.
- Buying gifts for seniors through our holiday gift program.
